Professional Tenants guide - what next ?

In brief -

1. Check the affordability calculator which helps you to see what rents you can afford and whether you will need a guarantor.

2. Browse the properties we have to let here and choose one or two, email or telephone us to arrange to viewing.

3. Download the application form PDF and read carefully.

4. Once you have viewed, if you would like to rent the property call the office and pay the application fee and the holding fee for the property over the phone. Remember there is an additional charge, if you require a guarantor .

5. Once we receive the completed application, we will first obtain the landlords approval, check the application and then we will send it to a referencing company.

6. Download and read through the draft tenancy agreement (pages 5 to 22) available her on-line, ask any question that arise and take independent legal advice.

7. When approval from the referencing company has been confirmed, we will telephone you to agree a date to meet and to start the tenancy. This should be within 4 weeks of applying for the tenancy.

8. On that date you will sign the Tenancy Agreement, and your holding fee will be transferred to become your deposit. You will then be given the keys to your property an independent inventory (page 7), and any other relevant documentation, a copy of the signed tenancy agreement will follow shortly. Also we will supply you with a copy of the contact details for either your landlord or our property management and accounts department.
